When I went to America and met up with the reincarnation of Jesus I found out a lot of things about life, and the universe. I found out that swearing is OK as long as nobody hears you, because God doesn't hate whispered swear words. I found out that Jesus likes to smoke and party, and he sleeps with his mouth open and snores. I also found out by way of Jesus that I was going to meet a girl named LJ and we were going to get married in a magical Christmas wedding. Jesus was of course right about everything, but what Jesus didn't tell me was that I was going to be marrying Hitler.
I probably should have seen it coming sooner, but I didn't. It's a strange thing, this non-gay love business, it makes you feel like buying flowers and singing songs which aren't manly. I even began caring about making sure I smelt nice and had clean fingernails and stuff like that. When I first met LJ I didn't think "Oh look, its Hitler." I thought "Wow, she is hot. I don't care if she's the dumbest girl in the world, I think she is real nice looking and that's all that matters to a real man, such as myself."
Anyway, the more I got to know LJ the less likely I thought she was Hitler. Didn't even figure since they both had dark hair there might be some sort of connection. Nope, she was perfect. She bought me sweets, talked to me on occasions, even took me to the zoo once. My Mum liked her and was very happy I had a girlfriend. Well, since everything was so perfect we got married. I couldn't have been happier. I don't know why, but LJ and I getting married was like Blair getting elected, all the promises had gone and in stormed a new world of tyranny.

A draconian Internet censorship bill that has been long looming on the horizon finally passed the house of commons in the UK yesterday, legislating for government powers to restrict and filter any website that is deemed to be undesirable for public consumption.
The “Digital Economy Bill” was rushed through parliament in a late night session last night after a third reading.
In the wake of the announcement of a general election on May 6, the government has taken advantage of what is known as the “wash-up process”, allowing the legislative process to be speeded up between an election being called and Parliament being dissolved.
Only a pitiful handful of MPs (pictured below) were present to debate the bill, which was fully supported by the “opposition” Conservative party, and passed by 189 votes to 47 keeping the majority of its original clauses intact.
The bill will now go back to the House of Lords, where it originated, for a final formal approval.
The government removed a proposal in clause 18 of the bill, which openly stated that it could block any website, however it was replaced with an amendment to clause 8 of the bill which essentially legislates for the same powers.
The new clause allows the unelected secretary of state for business, currently Lord Mandelson, to order the blocking of “a location on the internet which the court is satisfied has been, is being or is likely to be used for or in connection with an activity that infringes copyright”.
Opposing MPs argued that the clause was too broad and open ended, arguing that the phrase “likely to be used” could be used to block websites without them ever having been used for “activity that infringes copyright”. Other MPs argued that under the bill, whistleblower websites, such as Wikileaks, could be targeted

A crisis is unfolding in the UK as people in poverty struggle with rising food prices and the recession, the Save the Children charity has warned.
It comes as new figures from The Grocer magazine show food prices rose by more than 18% over the last year.
On Monday, the charity will launch a crisis grant scheme to help families.
The government says it believes food prices have peaked and it is tackling child poverty through increased child benefits and child tax credits.
'More unequal'
Colette Marshall, of Save the Children, said: "We are facing a crisis. Benefits simply haven't been enough and with rising food costs it means that families cannot afford to give children proper decent food.
"We think we are heading towards malnutrition here in the UK."
